THE PROBLEM: Global Lack of Access to Safe Water


Millions of people around the world lack access to safe water for drinking, food and hygiene purposes. Globally, at least 1.8 billion people use a drinking water source contaminated with feces* and almost 2.5 billion do not have access to adequate sanitation**. Almost 3 ½ million people die every year because of water and sanitation and hygiene related causes, and almost all of them (99%) are in the developing world***.

Those who can buy clean water often have to pay the world’s highest prices for it. I.e. in Papua New Guinea, the 4.5 million without access to naturally occurring clean water – or 60 per cent of the population – spend more than 50 per cent of their income on water each day****.

This is “a world where one in 10 people are trapped in a cycle of poverty and disease for want of a safe, affordable water supply of their own”****.

THE SOLUTION – The RainSaver Water Catchment & Storage System

This system has been designed utilizing the most advanced engineering and can be carried “by hand” to the most remote parts of the world. This is logistically and financially virtually impossible to achieve with a conventional one-piece plastic or fiberglass water tank.
